Circular No. 172/2016/TT-BTC dated October 27th, 2016 of the Ministry of Finance on prescribing rates and collection and remittance of fee for grant of construction activity licenses

In comparison with the earlier regulations provided in Circular No. 33/2012/TT-BTC , this Circular neither increase nor reduce fee rates for grant a construction practice certificate to individual, foreign investor. In particular, the fee rate for grant of a construction practice certificate to an individual is still VND 300,000 per certificate and the fee rate for grant of a construction activity license to a foreign contractor is VND 2,000,000 per license.

However, this Circular additionally regulates on the fee rate for grant of a construction capacity certificate to organizations, which is VND 1,000,000 per certificate.

This Circular takes effect from January 1st, 2017 and replaces Circular No. 33/2012/TT-BTC dated March 1st, 2012.
