In order to be eligible to attend the high school graduation exam, candidates' conduct must be classified as Average and above and academic performance must not be classified as Poor. Those who obtain high school graduation diplomas must attend this exam for university admission.

This Circular takes effect from May 26th, 2017. To replace Circular No. 04/2017/TT-BGDDTstatus1 dated January 25th, 2017, Circular No. 04/2018/TT-BGDDT dated February 28th, 2018, Circular No. 03/2019/TT-BGDDTstatus1 dated March 18th, 2018 and Circular No. 08/2020/TT-BGDDT dated March 23rd, 2020.
